I’ve really lost my motivation since graduating. Has anyone else found this. I can’t seem to get past 20mins. I keep telling myself how good I felt, but those gremlins start about 15 mins in. I try to get rid of them but by 20 mins I’m exhausted. I’m going any faster so its not that.

I know what you mean Shelley. What I've found has helped is listening to C25k week 9. It's comforting to hear those familiar voices at 5, 10, 15, 20 and 29 minutes coaching you through. I even listen to it when I do my parkrun. Laura takes me through 30 minutes and 4k then o know just 1k left. Good luck!!
Have you set some goals? All that really changes at graduation is the goal is hit.
My goal was to run 3 times a week for 30 mins for 3 weeks, so far I’ve done 2 at 20 mins and an aborted one at 5 mins due to cramp. I’ve joined a running club and started back a beginners because no way could I do the full 5K. It’s on a Monday and Thursday but I usually go to 1 of them.
Goals really help. I’m finding the runs genuinely hard work now but there are things I want to do with these legs after graduation so I keep pushing myself on. Incidentally, the best thing to do with gremlins is to ignore them. They used to tell you you couldn’t run week 1 ! They were lying then and they’re lying now. Oldfloss suggested looking at some of the virtual runs available - might help you find a target 🎯 Happy running 😀

We ALL hate the gremlins! Who do they think they are anyway, slobbing around on their gremlin sofas and trying to take the mick ? They’re just jealous really 😄

Hi Shelley, Is it because you are using a treadmill while the weather is bad or are you still getting out? Just wondering if the treadmill is taking time to get used to?
