How was my first run? Yep... pretty much as you described it there!

The key is to not run too fast... find a comfortable pace and that’s fast enough. Read the guide and FAQ.

Great job beating the beast that is run one... it’s the hardest thing to do.

It gets easier to run, but the plan will keep it challenging. Welcome and enjoy.

It does get easier, little by little. The feeling of achievement at the end of a run outweighs the pain though every time. Well done.

Check this post for Newbies out and you will find many answers there.:)

The runs are structured and taken slowly and steadily you will be ready for each and every single on. They may challenge you...but you get stronger, with each one!

No need to push.... just relax and enjoy the plan.

Keep posting too for great support and advice and encouragement :)

Well done. Keep in touch on here. People are so encouraging and it really helps.

Good job!!! I messed up my first run, so started again and smashed it and just done my second today.

I’m gonna restart but you’ll find the next one will feel easier!

Remember slow and steady!

My first i couldn't finish the last 2 run sessions but I'm starting week 3 tomorrow and I'm confident I'll be able to do it it does get easier

My first run? I staggered home doing the warm down walk (which was anything but brisk!) in a happy but dizzy & exhausted haze. When I finished week 5, that was the thing I thought about & I struggled to remember what it felt like.

Well done for getting off the couch and doing that first run. As everyone else says, trust the programme. It really works. 😎

My first run was in the pouring rain-came back like a drowned rat, beetroot and a bit bewildered 😳 the plan obviously does get harder but you don’t get any worse! Then before you know it weeks have passed and you really realise how much you have progressed !!

You’ll hear this in every single post - slow is the key - super slow!!! Best advice from these guys!
