Week 5 run1 and new shoes

I was looking forward to this one, it feels like things are starting to get more serious. In the middle of the next run I will be exactly half way through the programme and yet I feel I am only just beginning. I loved the run up on the hills in the early morning sunshine and I am proud of myself. Running is perhaps a slight exaggeration as I think most people could walk faster than I run, but I don't care - I'm enjoying it and getting better all the time. I forgot to post a pic of my lovely new shoes, they are muddy now which might just have taken a little of the eye-strain away when looking at the hideous colour. Apparently they don't come in any other colour for ladies - pah! Well at least the mountain rescue will be able to find me more easily if I get lost on the moors, I think you can see these babies from space.

Loving today’s shoe porn

You’re absolutely right, those sticking up out of the snow will help mountain rescue no end. These shoes do show everyone that you’re a runner though, loud and proud. Great job on the runs... enjoy that next bell ring.

They look like they are SUPER comfortable. Well done for getting half way. You've earned those luminous bad boys - wear them with pride!
