So last week was week 3, Run 1 was hard but by the end of the week I managed an extra 3 minute run at the end of the scheduled one. Today was W4 R1, I looked at the run plan and thought I'd struggle with 5 minute runs. I've had a quieter day at work as been of on a course to sat around all morning and stood around most the afternoon so I was looking forward to getting out in the fresh air but wasn't looking forward to the 5 min runs. The first 3 min run went ok although I was willing Jo to tell me it was time. The 5 min run was much the same although I was chuffed I'd managed to do it by the end of the next 3 mins I was surprised Jo was telling me to walk so soon and felt I could have gone for longer. By then end of the last 5 min run I didn't want to stop, so I didn't! I must have run for another couple of minutes and I was so shocked with myself. I've no idea where that came from but it was a pleasant surprised. Just hope the rest of the week goes as well. I'm loving the buzz I get at the end of a run and the sense of achievement this is giving me. Onwards and upwards!

It came from a great running plan and your hard work on it. Don’t fear the steps up, as you’ve seen, you can do it!
