Hope my hubby and I aren't too old at 62 and 64years, to do this! We have completed the second session of week one, so far.

When I'm 64, I like that song by Paul Mccarthy, of course you can start C25K at 62 and 64 respectively. It was 3 weeks before I was 72 when I began my first week and graduated 🎓 9 weeks later🎈. I hope you and your husband enjoy your C25K journey. 😊🏃

We had a graduate last year twenty years older than you two..........at 83!

So forget about numbers.......... you are as old as you feel and there are plenty of us in our sixties on this forum.

Welcome and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Enjoy your journey.

You’re definitely not too old!!

I started C25K in April just before my 62nd birthday having never been a runner. I graduated in late May and am still running 5K or thereabouts three times a week. I’m still totally addicted and feel fitter and happier than ever!

Keep going and enjoy the benefits!!

Good luck to you both. 🏃‍♀️🏃

Not too old at all! I started in May aged 66 and now do 5k fairly comfortably. I had to redo a few weeks through picking up niggles in my calves in particular, but that is all part of the process, not to be confused with failure(as I did at first). I found doing walks (compulsory as we have a dog) stretches and calf raises on non-run days helped me. I was also careful not to try to go too fast. Forget about age and just enjoy it; success makes you feel lots younger😊

Age is but a number, I started in May aged 69 and have just completed week 1 of Running plan to get me to 10K. I might be slow but I can run and I love it. Good luck and happy running to you both.
