I always see how I feel the morning of the run. I've had achy bits and bobs on the rest day but on run day they've always gone. See how you are tomorrow.
Morning, sore/achy legs are all part of the package, as long as you have not injured yourself, pulled muscles, feel twinges etc, you will be surprised how well you feel after a few minutes into your run tomorrow. Good Luck
They’re badly named... I call them non running days. Yoga, low impact workouts, walking, swimming, cycling and more help a lot on these days and keep the legs loose.
I walk on rest days. It gives me chance to check out out new routes and try to avoid busy roads. I've found some lovely woodlands (plantations they are called here) and parks that I never knew about, and I've only lived here 18 years.
I have bad knees at the moment and try rest them too.
On the running bads I start off withheld walk when it's time for the run I do a tiny bit I feel fine the carry on if it hurts I just walk it all and try the run2 another day
