Week 8 Run 1

I’ve got to week 8 of the program in 6 weeks by religiously going out every other day because I felt able to.

Today I completed week 8 run 1 &, according to map my run, I traveled 4.96k in 39.42 minutes.

I genuinely can’t believe I’m actually doing this and am so proud of myself.

6 weeks ago I struggled to ‘run’ for 60 seconds yet I am well on target for 5k in 30 mins and am actually finding each run easier than the last.

Good for you! Just take care. Slow is good. Don’t get hung up about 5k in 30 minutes. You can do speed when you’ve built your running legs, which takes time. Slow runs build legs as do rest days If you go too fast, too early, you’ll get crocked so beware

Have fun 👍😃
