Today I’m sat on my butt and loving it! Week 5 starts tomorrow. The challenge of run 3 is much anticipated, but not feared. Gonna let NTC app kick my ass the other three days... I never liked gym work, but now I’m getting into it, probably because it’s focused on run stability and core, I was never one for the torture devices with weights.

Good luck with starting week 5! Glad you have found something you enjoy :)

I graduated yesterday. Woop me!

Left knee aches today 😕

Looking forward to carrying it on and trying to run further and for longer.

I may be looking in to doing a park run or 2. I know a lot of people here do them and say they are great.

How’s your running journey going?

W8R2 today but like Daveb88 my left knee is sore, since R1 on Saturday. Hot again today so might rest it until tomorrow.

I graduated last June. Ran happily for a few months but with work and weather took a break in November and December. That was a mistake, I had to start all over again in January and managed to do a challenge where I did 5K everyday in January, running one day and walking the next. At the end of January I was back to 5K and back to Parkrun. Then in March I hurt my back in the heavy snow. Turned out my left hip was dislocated. So after many Physio sessions I got sorted out but was told to not run for a few months.

So now I’m back, building it back up slowly. On Friday evening after work I ran my first 5K without walk breaks in months. It was very slow and very steady but I was thrilled with 38 minutes. Going out this evening and looking forward to it.
