I've been reading quite a few posts and think its a good incentive to build in little treats along this journey, especially when you celebrate graduating!
What incentives have people had and treats bought along the way?
Or is the incentive of being able to run for 30 mins been enough to keep you going?

Before I started I treated myself to an activity tracker, seeing it as both a commitment to a new way of life and a virtual exercise coach. It's turned out to be a real tyrant and I'm obsessed by how many steps I'm doing every day and what my heart rate is! Laura is far gentler! Also have a massage booked for a few weeks, by which time things'll have ramped up a bit (did wk2r1 yesterday).
I purposely didn't give myself treats along the way (treat me mean 😊) but my reward for finishing was putting together my own playlist and not having to listen to that bloody awful music on the podcasts 🤗
I bought myself a runners belt to put my phone in last week (I was just holding it before) and if can keep it up another couple of weeks I'm going to get myself some proper trainers for my birthday (just running in my old Skechers which I wear all the time at the moment). If I can keep it up past graduation I'm going to get some running clothes and a gps watch.
Promised myself a running jacket upon graduation, still haven't been to the shops to buy it yet as the weather has improved so much. I'm still far too intimidated by sports shops.
Obviously, I bought new shoes, loads of kit and a Garmin! I think the things that really keep me motivated though are;
1. Park run. It is such a lovely community and I like running with others
2. Virtual Runner challenges. In particular those where it is "distance over a period " as it really helps me to keep my mileage up. I think having the charity element alongside the bling is a winning combination
After week 3 I treated myself to running socks and at the week end I bought new trainers as I'd just started week 5. Can't quite work out my new interest in running gear - it's a first for me!
Bought Asics shoes after week two so that I had nothing left to blame except myself - My Garmin Vivoactive should be here on Friday according to Amazon, got to run for 20 minutes on Thursday non stop before it gets here though (eek)
