Hi All. I'm starting week 4 tomorrow. Apart from little niggles, everything has gone well so far, but I'm a teacher going back to work tomorrow and I'm worried about managing to keep going once my normal hectic schedule kicks in. Any tips to keep me motivated?

My wife is a teacher and she is on this plan too, we’re on week 5, I think you will be fine, if you have set a reminder of when to run you can just keep telling yourself through the day that it is run day, there is nothing better than releasing stress than getting out and running, keep it going

Thanks. Yeah, I haven't set a reminder, but will do that. You're right about the stress relief, of course.

I started c25k in April and I had to find a run on the way home from work as I knew that once home I would find it hard to go out again. I would get changed, drive to the sea front where there are a few different routes, run, drive 25 minutes home and collapse. I too am staring back tomorrow so the routine will start again at 4.30. I do Parkrun so will only run twice a week.... I hope the sea front is well lit as too soon the evenings will be dark. I may well be asking for motivation tips for winter running .......🐧🌒🤤 G

My plan is to go once I've got back from dropping my daughter off at her circus skills class, which she does 3 times a week at 5pm. I'm hoping that this will help it to become part of my routine.

I also work in a school and was wondering how it was all going to work out! I’ll be going into W6 as we go back, so hoping my brain and legs have been suitably trained enough to want to go! 🤞🏻

It is hard especially this winter term. Have a day you will run, I don't even sit down throw on my run stuff and leave the house.

It will help with the stress of school. I find if I have had a bad day running it off makes me feel better.

I'm in week 3 and start back tomorrow. I teach, but three days a week as I have two kids, 5 and 2 years old. Also going into my final year of my MA, so really hoping I can find the time. But as someone said - got to be good stress relief.

I went past a runner today who smiled at me as we passed each other. In acknowledgment rather than mockery, so I must look the part now! Must keep going!
