Just completed my first 5k and scraped the 30 mins! I’m so chuffed, not for completing in the time but for completing without stopping or walking. Happy to stay at a steady pace now until I’ve completed it all and then work on going further.

Wow! Very impressive! 😁👏

I can’t do 5k in 30 mins yet but still plenty of weight to lose 🤣

Thank you and you will get there too. What I love about this programme is there is no pressure to be at a certain point in a certain time. I wanted to do it for me personally but now I will just run for pleasure and if I make that time again great if I don’t it doesn’t matter. Good luck 😉

Wow, very well done. Was that your W6 R3 run and you ran for 30 minutes or a separate run? Whichever it is it's marvellous! How was your knee? I've just been down the beach to watch them running a 5k park run which they've just started doing every Saturday morning. I'm now at the stage where I'm fairly confident I can run for 30 minutes then running 5 k will be the next step and my goal is to then run 5k in 30 minutes.

Morning hatter, that was w7 run 1. It’s supposed to be 25 min run but I did the extra 5 mins then my walk after that. I think you’d easily cope with the park runs. Someone I work with told me about them ages ago but I’ve never done anything about it. I may do it myself 😁

Brilliant!!

This may sound silly but does this include the 10mins walking? It always confuses me slightly as to whether people include it or not.

Also well done!! Smashed it!! 👍👍

Hi Dave no it didn’t include the walk. I did the walk first then ran the 25 mins but I also ran through the 5 min walk at the end so that I did the full 30 mins. I then did a 5 min walk back home

Good Evening, could you tell me what app it is that you use to record you runs, it looks like yours gives a lot more info than mine and would give me some guide over the 3 X 25 minutes runs this week if Im improving at all.

I use MapMyRun, I used to use Runkeeper which was a good one too but then it started going funny on me so I changed to this one. Both are pretty good
