First run in the rain! ☔️

It’s less than a week since I graduated and I embarked on a 5k consolidation run this morning. I changed my route and had to negotiate with some steep hills, but I achieved my goal (albeit with a slower pace). The most exciting thing about my run was it was my first run in the rain ☔️ 🌧 🏃🏽‍♀️....and I loved it!!!

Well done you, I ran with steel rods coming down at the weekend and I loved it! Have run in showers and drizzle before but never anything quite like that. It was exhilarating.

Sounds great! 😀 I look forward to experiencing heavier rain at some point. 👍

I haven’t run in the rain yet. I’m not sure about winter wet & cold weather. But as I want to be a runner then I suppose I’ll have to look for some trainer-type wellies 😉

Not sure about really cold weather though, will have to consider different running attire! 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️😉

Now there’s a potential dilemma? Does wearing extra layers decrease running speed - frostbite or a PB???
