Since graduating about 5 weeks ago with a 4.5k run I’ve managed to keep the 3 runs a week and between 4 and 5k (except when with the LGO (little ginger one). Following my rubbish run on Sunday I just chose my favourite paths today which ended up just 3.7k. That’s ok. Breathing wasn’t great though. I’ve missed my extra exercise (yoga and Pilates) the last two weeks - it’s beginning to show! Holiday looming with lots of walking and probably not much running. I can see a rewind ahead! It was all going so well . . . . .
Just breathe!! Think I need help. : Since... - Couch to 5K

Holiday is good Syb 😀 And if you do lots of walking on holiday that's better still! I think it’s nice to have a chance to recharge those batteries every so often, otherwise your running can get stuck in a bit of a rut. Enjoy it, and don’t worry about the running. Have a great break and set yourself some new targets for when you return.

What Mike said. Sometimes some time off is good. Run if you can, don’t worry if you can’t! ❤️

Holiday is great... enjoy yourself, walk lots, and when you come back you’ll be refreshed and those legs will be raring to go.

Think you'll be just fine, walking is good, and you can do a little jog whilst others are walking, that works. You might surprise yourself. It is a scary thought of losing fitness if you don't run, but I think a few weeks is ok, and as Telford Mike said, your running can become a little stuck in a rut - so enjoy your downtime and relax 😎
