Completed W7R1 but was starting to feel despondent as doing this for weight loss too and scales don’t reflect much change.

I have felt fitter though and actually feel guilty that I have left a few days since my last jog as let the weather put me off.

You have to keep going. These things take time. worth doing though ey 🤷‍♀️😃👍

Muscle weighs more than fat Dwat, so don’t be too disappointed. I bet your shape has changed along with your fitness. Easy to be negative about what we expect to achieve rather than what we have. Think back to W1R1. 👍🏻

there is an informative post about weight loss and C25K in the FAQ - please have a look! C25K alone is not a weight loss program, it simply doesn't burn enough calories. It has to come from eating less as well.

But as misswobble says it takes time and what c25k will give you is the foundation to be able to run longer which will eventually start to help your weight loss. But don't underestimate the fitness gain! You are doing a great thing for your health.
