After a few days away I got home today and headed straight to the gym to complete run 3 on the treadmill. Never thought I would say it but I couldn't wait to get home to do it as I felt pretty confident that I could do it and I did with not a great deal of effort although I find it very boring. I am surprised that after doing a continuous 20 mins of running that the next 2 runs go back to doing short runs and I'm tempted to skip either run 1 or 2. Has anyone else done this or am I better sticking to the schedule?

Hi Sue, well done for completing the dreaded 20 minute run of week 5. The short runs of week 6 are important - the step up to 25 minutes is a lot and they'll prepare you for it. Good luck!

Hi Sue, well done on your 20 minute run! Lots of people find that the following runs are actually much tougher than they expected, you find that it was easier to keep running than to stop and then have to start again, so don't try and miss them out, they're there for a reason. Good luck!
