Went with a different running partner today which was odd as I’ve got used to talking 80% of the time to my normal running pal. Makes all the difference when I’m not distracted by talking as it made the 25 mins seem to never end.
Thinking of trying run 2 this week on my own with music and see how I get on as my running pal is off on holiday in a couple of weeks. Need to get used to pushing myself when on my own. 😀

Hello LadyBeer, well done on running for twenty five minutes. I’m hoping to do the same on my next run, I listen to music as I don’t have a running buddy like you. I use the forums to check my virtual running buddies.
Once again well done, every step is a success which we all should celebrate.
You’re doing great. Any change in routine makes it feel harder, so I’d miss my running buddy too. You took out that 25 though... into the closing stages now.
It’s quite cool to listen to music that isn’t yours... so like a Spotify running playlist or something just listening to the lyrics can make the time go quite fast ... obviously provided it’s not music you detest 😭
