Completed W6R2. Had a couple of extra rest days after W5 as we had visitors so I had dropped behind schedule, I’m targeting a 5k in mid September- I decided to miss W6R1 and go straight to R2- first ten minutes was toxic but the second was much more comfortable. Regret missing R1 but am back on schedule now and R3 on Friday. Hope it’s not hot and humid!

Well done, but the run you skipped was a tricky one with a lesson or two to learn.

I don’t know your fitness level Taffy but try not to jump days on the the schedule. It is a well designed program to prepare your body for the next step without injury.
Have fun and you will get to running 30 minutes in 9 weeks, whatever that distance may be. 90% do not reach 5 k until after graduation

Sneaky you, missing the bogey run! W6R1 is a real tester, the one which catches loads of people out. It looks relatively simple compared to the W5R3 20 minuter!
You don’t fancy going back and giving it a try? Wouldn’t hurt. 😀👍🏻
