Week 5 Run 3 - 20 minute straight run!

This is amazing.. i just ran for 20 minutes straight non stop! couldn't believe I will be able to do it even as I started off... but then didn't want to psyche myself.. so kept a steady pace, concentrated on my breathing and completed it. At the end, it didn't even take me the 5 minute cool down time to recover.

It only goes to show two things: (a) the app has been fantastically designed.. knows your body better than you do (and your mind being the monkey you need to train of course) (b) if I can, anyone can. Since I've started running, two others near and dear to me have also downloaded the app and started running.

Onwards and upwards to Week 6!

It really is amazing when you start to realise the slow steady build up works!

Well done I am almost at that stage I don’t know what the best speed is to do on a treadmill

I'm not sure because I run outside.. my aim is to follow the time and complete the run without stopping so I don't worry about the speed at this point. All the best for your big one. Although i must admit that i found yesterday's run (5min-8min-5min) tougher than the full 20 minute run! How!

Even more amazing is when you get to week 9 and can run for 30 minutes non-stop. Keep going, you'll be able to do it 👍
