I hope you all enjoyed a fabulous weekend, whether you were running, resting or simply enjoying a break from work.
I have taken the advice from forum members on here and been on the IC all weekend nursing my painful left foot. I have been wearing compression socks, exercising, and using a frozen water bottle to massage the arch and heel of my foot. Thankfully, the pain is starting to diminish and I am walking around with ease and very little discomfort. I was due to do my W9R1 this morning but have delayed it, so that my foot has an extra day to recover.
Do you think it would be okay if I did a run tomorrow (providing I continue to be pain free and take it easy?)
I have also ordered a night splint to wear during the night when needed.
I am working tomorrow, so will assess how my foot is during the day and perhaps go for a gentle jog later in the evening if I continue to be pain free.
