OK so just completed my first post grad run this morning and another 5k just over 34mins so slightly slower. Glad to prove to myself that I can run outside the structure and encouragement of the C25k app. My daughter ran with me and she did 5k with ease. After 9 weeks hard slog it's good to know I am almost on par with an 11yr old! π Still committed to running and keeping my fitness on track. π

Post grad running

Ooo thatβs a good time/distance! Well done you! Iβm yet to embark on post-grad run (heck it was only yesterday π ), and Iβm a little nervous of the lack of structure. Might use W9 a bit longer.
Have you done a Parkrun yet, and if not would you be tempted to? πββοΈπ
Plan to do a park run soon. Want to keep up the 5k three times a week for a while then maybe try bridge to 10k.... Good luck with post grad running, I have strava updates every km to keep me on track so that helps.
I just graduated too, and I think I will use W9 for the structure for a while as well. I have been running a bit longer if I can or I'm headed downhill, but I like the companionship of my coach!
I tried that this morning. Popped on W9R3 for my first post-grad run. The app started, MJ said off you go, and that was the last I heard from him! Apparently itβs happened to a few people!! π
Oh dear. I have never had any trouble repeating weeks before. I will try it tomorrow. Worrying as I have to send my fitbit off for repair tomorrow as well. I will let you know if it happens to me--maybe Sarah Millican won't be so anxious to get rid of me!!
