So out I go at 6 this morning planning a 20 min run as I have a busy day ahead. After 15 mins I was actually feeling quite good so thought I would keep going for the full 30 mins. 42 minutes later I reach 5k 😀😀😀😀
I have wanted to be able to run 5k for over 10 years after struggling to walk round Race for Life, when the friends I had gone with happily left me behind to jog all the way round. I felt so miserable and deflated on that day.
But today I feel elated. Around 8 weeks ago I struggled to run 3 minutes! I cannot stress enough how brilliant C25K is. Yes it’s tough but to anyone who is struggling I would urge you to stick with it. Then you will get to feel as happy as I do today 😀
