Well I really didnβt expect to have graduated tonight- but I did it!
I was expecting to run first thing tomorrow morning as Friday is a grandma day and all Iβm usually fit for after that is to collapse in a heap.
Not so tonight- tonight I was itching to graduate and so after waving the littlies off I donned the running gear and off I went.
The first ten minutes were hard after such an active day but the thought of that podium and everyone on here spurred me on. It feels so fantastic and for the last 60 seconds I put on a proper sprint, just to remind myself of the difference between that very first 60 seconds that I ran 9 weeks ago when my lungs felt as though they were exploding and the graduation 60 seconds when Iβd just ran for 30 minutes πππ
Thanks everyone for all your support - and all you still to graduate - go smash it πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
Just got to find out how to get that badge now and decide how to continue running without this fantastic programme β

That was sneaky of you getting the run in today after all! Quick, hop up on the podium and share my π₯πΎ while thereβs still some left! ππββοΈ
Huge congratulations - isnβt it a great feeling? π
Donβt forget to claim your badge! ππ»ππ»ππ»
Thanks cheeky. Just couldnβt wait until tomorrow- it really is such a fantastic feeling youβre right. We are actually runners πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπ
From puffing and panting to running in 9 weeks πππββοΈπββοΈ
Donβt know about you but I canβt wait to get out there again as a post-grad. Thereβll be a certain spring in my step!! πββοΈπββοΈππ
You and me both- think that has to be my next goal. 5k in 30 minutes but I know it will take me a long time to get there. Thatβs the beauty though- thereβs no rush. Just going to enjoy the journey and get fitter in the process ππ
Catching up when I can get a good WiFi signal (not that often π¬) So many familiar runners graduated! πππ!! It was a great day for a party!! Youβve all done brilliantly!! πβ€οΈ
Thanks AlMor- the podium is certainly crowded this weekend but itβs a great feeling to share the achievement with so many other βnewβ runners. πππββοΈπββοΈ
Massive congratulations!!! So pleased for you, it's amazing how this works, look at us grandma's running !!! Enjoy every second of that graduation feeling, you've so earned it. I was supposed to do mine today but got cold feet ... Don't want the program to finish π³....
Tomorrow I will be up early to do my graduation run - wish me luck π€
Thank you lets-go- only just seen this so you may well have already set off on your graduation run. If not- good luck. Let us know when youβve done it- and well done to you for getting this far ππ
It is an amazing programme youβre right and like you I donβt really want it to end. Think Iβm going to carry on using it as I do my early graduation runs.
