Pesky cold!

What advice do people have about running with a cold? I've developed a very annoying one for the first time since starting running. I went for a slow and steady 30 minutes this morning - I thought it might help my system to keep it moving - but I wonder what the thoughts of those who know way more than me are?

If the cold is above the neck it’s ok to run. If it’s below the neck in your chest then have a rest

The running actually helps as it encourages your nose to run. A big hankie or two stuffed up your sleeve or under a wristband is a boon. You might need to stop and have a good blow from time to time

Thanks - definitely neck up so far, so I'll carry on (although hopefully it'll be nearly cleared by the time Monday comes around!). That's good to know - neck up run, neck down rest!

Can't add to what misswobble said , good advise .. take care and you will soon 'be back to full strength
