Week 4 first run

Wahooo!!! I went on an impromptu trip to Amsterdam on Wednesday morning so I missed my running day, but I got off the bus back from the airport today, got changed into my running gear and went on a late night run and I just cannot BELIEVE that I can run for five minutes, and the three minutes doesn't even feel too hard anymore!! Last week I was absolutely amazed at being able to even run for three!

I love this programme so much, it is so so wonderful to feel your fitness increasing! 😁😘

Well done! You do get stronger surprisingly quickly. Best of luck with the rest of the programme!

Thankyou! It's amazing, so nice to feel your body not struggling after a few seconds of running!

Thankyou!! I'm very nervous for week 5 but there's a little way to go yet! I think I'll pass out with glee if I manage the 20 minutes!! πŸ˜€

Huge well done to you! I love your impromptu trip destination... mine is usually a trip into the Peak District :)

Thankyou!! Yes a highly recommended impromptu trip destination as well! I did consider taking my running stuff but decided against it in the end, maybe next time I'll be speeding round the canals! πŸ˜€

Cor, I found run 2 this morning a lot harder! Still did it bit the first 5 minutes felt like it was never going to end!

I wonder if there is something about running first thing in the morning when still in slug mode that is more challenging on the body than in the evening after you've already been up and moving all day?

Not what you're looking for?
