Conversational Running

You have heard it before about running at a speed where you can hold a conversation.

I have been interspersing some walk days and runs recently. Normally I listen to music whilst running but have listened to a few podcasts on my walks.

I was listening to the ParkRun podcast "Free Weekly Timed" and they had Paul Tonkinson on who does another podcast. I decided to find out and give it a try.

Slightly annoyingly they have a few adverts inserted at the beginning and middle of the podcast but if you can get through that just be amazed at how these two guys hold a conversation and even do an interview whilst running. This morning I listened to the PodCast from July 26th and they had Rachel Ann Cullen on.

The way she manages to hold a conversation almost not bothered by the fact that she is running up and down dale had me bowled over.

You can find it by searching for "Running Commentary Podcast"

This is a perfect speed to run. That's why running clubs are so sociable. You have to run and chat to others at the same time!
