After fitting in WK6 away from the comfort of my usual route, I headed out for run1 of week 7 this evening. I’m finding the start of the run tough, and I doubt my ability to finish, but boy do I love when Sarah tells me I’ve only got 5 mins left 😆
Didn’t feel like the best run ever, but I needed to get it done and back into routine.
Off camping with the family tomorrow for the final weekend of the school hols, planning on fitting in R2 on Friday, though I’m anxious about not knowing where to run near the campsite. I’m more anxious of leaving too much of a gap between runs and getting out of the habit I’ve managed to build up though 😂 onwards onwards

Great that you continued with your run even though you weren’t feeling it. The mark of a true and determined runner! Well done you! 🏃♀️🏃♀️👍🏻👍🏻
Have fun finding a R2 route. I had to start W8 doing that and I used a clumsy combo of Google maps and MapMyRun to find one ...... which I ended up ignoring, but they gave me a basic sense of direction!
Good luck! You’ll smash the next run! Have fun camping too! 🏃♀️❤️🏃♀️😀
Thanks cheekychipmunks! Had a great time camping...did not manage to fit in a run, but didn’t beat myself up about it, put multiple tents/gazebos up and multiple dog walks...so counting that as strength and stamina training 😂
Finally fit WK7 R2 in yesterday morning after the children went back to school. Was worried about the longest gap I’ve left between runs, but it was a good run in the end and feeling motivated for R3! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
