Just completed Week 6 Run 3- yay!
I was running along happily, thinking surely I must have done 10 mins by now, Sarah’s gone quiet, when she piped up that I’d already run for 12.5mins and was halfway through today’s run!
Very canny, I thought, not announcing every 5 mins, made me realise I was doing better than I thought.
Carried on running - and running - and running ... thought I must have done 20mins by now, only 5 left? Tapped on the app to check, and it had frozen at the halfway stage!
Cue lots of frantic mental maths (not my strong suit) to try and work out how long I had run and how long I had left. Settled on a certain time and stopped then.
So, a bit of a nuisance (and I probably ran a bit longer than I needed to ‘just in case’), but I found the actual run fine. I was worried that after going back to intervals earlier in the week i’d find 25mins hard, but it was good.
Off abroad for two weeks with a low probability that I will do any running (but I might pack my stuff just in case!), so I will probably restart week 6 when I get back to ease myself back in.
Feeling very proud of myself! Well done to all the others who have tackled Week 6 and won this week!
