I know you are all waiting with baited breath to hear how today’s run went after Sunday’s disappointing first run for week 7.
Well, I took all of your advice and I slowed it right down. I th No I felt better as I had an idea of how far I needed to cover in distance and roughly how long it would take and so my brain was prepared. I did settle into a rhythm but had to keep telling myself to slow down. But I did not stop!
I thought I was running Strava alongside but it seems I wasn’t. I was hoping to get an idea of speed for the actual running time but that is a job for Thursday. Feeling a little more hopeful.

Well done, I find I'm telling myself to slow down all of the time. Don't get obsessed about speed it really doesn't matter. I have run 3 of week 6 next, or the first of 4 25 minute runs. Mentally I'm expecting a challenge but I quote John Mellencamp to myself "Nothing matters and so what if it does?" Good luck Thursday and beyond 😃😃😃
