Hi all, I have been reading posts for a few weeks and getting on with things. I have been doing my runs with a couple of friends and they have been tough but doable. I had to do wk7 runs 1 and 2 on my own last week so used the treadmill and found them quite easy so back to running with friends yesterday for run 3 and it was hell. I considered giving up several times and just managed to finish.
My legs were like lead the whole way and my chest felt like exploding. Please tell me it will get easier!
I’ve had some issues that I thought I had sorted with my ankle but that is sore as well now.
Feeling a bit down but determined.

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.
It sounds to me as if you are going too fast when running with your friends. Groups of runners need to go at a comfortable pace for the slowest runner, which is why I recommend that you do C25K on your own, otherwise somebody's optimal progress is going to be compromised.
Your aim, at this stage, is an easy conversational pace, as described in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
