I'm on week 8 and really enjoying my runs. However, the last couple of weeks one knee has been really sore. I looked up the symptoms and it all points to runners knee. I have no pain to speak of when I'm running, it's all when I am sitting and go to stand up. I am doing stretches and exercises but my question is , do I keep running and exercising it or should I stop? Please don't say stop lol

You could try the oral ibuprofen as already suggested. Ibuprofen gel massaged into the knee - following the directions, of course, is good, especially if there's some inflammation lurking about. Might help to keep the bad leg elevated when seated so your knee isn't flexed. Not my place to give advice as whether you should carry on or not, but if it gets worse might be worth having it checked out.
Whatever, good luck hope it resolves quickly, and enjoy the running 😎
Thank you all for your comments. I've been using ibuprofen gel. I'm to get my gait checked to make sure I've got the right trainers. I have my last run of the plan today. Go us x
