Post-grad run 6 - the north face of the Eiger

The mountains where we live do have a few relatively flat bits where you can run when it’s too hot down in the valley. Today is such a day, and I find myself dodging cows up in the hills. The downhill bits are great, but going up feels like climbing the famous North face. I was surprised when Garmin Connect told me I'd broken my record for a 1km split during this run - must have been a long downhill section 😂

That pointy mountain to the left of Mrs t_m is the actual Eiger however, and I won’t be running up there any time soon.

Hi Ang, yes I've done it once, bit too expensive to do it regularly!

My husband got sick at the top because of the altitude! Amazing views though. Love mountains!

Well done! I thought it was hilly enough in East Sussex but your mountains trump that big time! Adore Switzerland, used to live there and hope we will return sometime. Which part are you in 🇨🇭

We're in Wengen in the Bernese Oberland. It certainly is hilly!

Such a beautiful area. Definitely not easy to run there but you'll be super fit with the altitude!
