Is it a new pain on this last run? Did it pass post run? Always worth getting things checked out, especially if if takes time to go or comes back straight away when you next run. Not sure on carrying on, you have to listen to your own body, and take into account any previous injury or pain.

Yes it’s a new pain it comes and goes but I tried to exercise today (not run as it was 35 degrees, and I felt the pain. Not a previous injury but I’m annoyed as I was really motivated even in the stupid heat!

I’d go to GP and get it looked at. You’ve got great motivation and we will all cheer you on, so if it means taking a break you’ll soon be back.

Thanks!! I’ve had sciatic pain before so I know what it’s like and can be awful but as it comes and goes I wasn’t sure if ok to still run thanks for your help 😊

Have you a pain in the butt? Not being rude, but if you have, then it may be a trapped sciatic nerve... maybe get it checked out by your GP?

Having had seven weeks in the past, on the IC with a trapped sciatic nerve... it is worth getting it sorted before you run again :)

Yes I think it’s def sciatic but as it comes and goes and I feel it when I exercise I was t sure whether to carry on or wait for a bit! X
