Well done! Getting motivated to take that first step is often the hardest part, there’ll be no stopping you now!
Good luck, and let us know how you’re getting on.
Wahay, good for you 😃👍. Slowly is best. Remember that ! 😁👍
Keep going 💪👍😃
That's great. Welcome to the club. You'll find heaps of advice and encouragement here. It's good that you're both doing it too. You can provide each other with motivation
Great! Well done! Stick to this forum as the support is fantastic!
Congrats for getting off the couch 👍. And doing it together should even help more

Guessing 5k Scouser is in Liverpool...I visited there for first time last year...Fab !
Good luck to you both. I will be doing that run too, looking forward to wearing a curly Scouse wig, (I’ll be going for the pink one!) Enjoy the journey, the program really works 👍
Thanks what week are you on I haven’t booked it yet £20 each but looks like a good day and a good goal to aim for
Welcome! Brilliant that you've decided to do the programme. Everyone is very friendly and helpful here so do post let us know how you're getting on. The programme might seem a bit of a stretch sometimes but trust it - it works!
I’m 67 & took this system up about 4 weeks ago....I find it excellent for keeping the pace down, useful tips, & I didn’t know that we should run from the heel rather than on our toes so we’re never too old to learn! I just want to stay active, be able to take stairs at a run &, as all the advice for decades has been that proper exercise for so many hours a week extends our lives, I’d like to give myself a fighting chance! I feel sorry for those I know & see who, in their 40s are so overweight that they’re using a cane & some go on to develop Diabetes. How do they not hear the advice?
