Did you drink enough litres of water the day before in order to get properly hydrated? People often feel dizzy and sick when dehydrated and some simply faint if a run is longer and the temperature’s high.

Maybe a half cup of tea or coffee would help. I’ve run on empty and had good and bad runs.

I will try that next time...thanks!

Hi Lisa I always eat a banana 1hr before I run no matter what time of day it is and I always take water out with me. If I don't do this then I do feel sickly towards the end of a run. I struggle to face food in a morning and do have to force it down sometimes but it always does the trick👍

Hi Lisa some people have half a banana and of course plenty of water, even on rest days. I run before I eat, but I now drink a lot of water every day. You’ve done brilliantly and it will be graduation soon! Well done! 😁❤️

Good hydration is a must, but don't go overboard with that just before you run, build it up from the previous day, a ginger biscuit is said to be good just before running, I have a banana beforehand or smooth peanut butter on a slice of toast, maybe try something very small in the gut to experiment to see what suits you madam😁

Also sometimes I have a peppermint or Rennie before running if tum feels a tad delicate..

Agree with the replies above, definitely dehydration. Keep drinking half a glass of water every half hour or so the afternoon before your run. Good luck and keep going!
