Started at 18st 10lbs..... heaviest ever!

Just turned 40 this year, and partied a bit too hard!

Stopped at the start of July tho, and now looking to nail the Couch to 5K.

Into Week 2, started last night, did the walk/run, then did half of it again on the stopwatch as I felt ok. After the very first run last week, the legs were heavy for a couple of days, but feeling fresh now.

Started the McReady Diet the other week too, and knocked of 7lbs in a week and a half, so all going good!

Well done you - that’s brilliant!! It’s definitely even more of a challenge when you’re carrying a bit of extra weight. Onwards and downwards!! X

Cheers.

Yeah, not easy. I’ve always went to the gym, so usually generally fit. But the treadmill is a lot easier than pounding the streets!

Still tho, as much as it’s not easy when your actually out, I look forward to getting out! So I’ll keep plugging away.

Hard to picture myself hitting the 5K, but I’m determined so that’s half the battle!

Great start. Don't fixate on the 5k thing though, just aim for 30 mins of slownon-stop running. The 5k comes later and takes longer than 30mins for 90% of graduates. Enjoy the programme - it's a good 'un!
