Fast enough?

I’m on week 8 run 1 next week. I managed the 25 minute runs of week 7 (just) but still only running 2.4 mile. Should I try and speed up , or will I end up running 5 k at the end of it all in 30 minutes?

Absolutely no need to worry about speed. You only need to run for 30 minutes to graduate.

You're doing over 3.8k in 25 mins. If you ran at the same pace for 30 mins you'll do 4.6k, that's only 400m short of 5k 🙂

You've got 6 more runs to do to graduate, if you don't get to 5k by the end you'll be very close...

Most people don't run 5k when they graduate. I don't think I will ever run 5k in 30 mins. I'm too much of a snail. I cant physically run fast enough for 5k pace!!!!! But I'm really happy with that. Aiming for 5k in about 45 mins in a couple of weeks. 🐌🐌🐌🐌

No need to speed up go at your own pace, speed comes after graduation and then it will be at the speed you are built for. For me it wasent 5km in 30 mins but I found I love distance so that is all there for you to find out about yourself after graduation. Exciting times.

90% of people can’t do 5k in 30 minutes on graduation. I still can’t and I graduated in April!

It's the time your after at the moment jogger69. I'd say once you've past the graduate phase if you're not already you will be soon. Take every run as a new challenge. Good luck. 😁🤞
