I probably over-prepared for W9R3 - a sensible meal of fish and boiled potatoes last night, and no beer at all. Mrs t_m set off ahead of me while I tuned-in to Ken Bruce and woke MJ up from his slumbers. I was really hyped-up for the run. Predictably I set off way too fast, and caught up with Mrs t_m in a new PB of 12 minutes. She got a nice snap of me as I ran past. Once I'd slowed down a bit the run went well.
So that’s that. I'll consolidate over the next few weeks while I decide where this journey is going to take me next.
Thanks to those who selflessly run this forum - it’s a wonderfully supportive place and I believe it makes a real difference to our chances of success. And a huge thanks to my fellow members on here for sharing your experiences and providing endless encouragement.
