Week 8 - getting near the end

Hi All. I started C25k in early May, following a gift of running gear, shoes, etc, from my kids for my 64th birthday, along with a recommendation to try the app. Being too lazy for too many years and having not run or been 'sporty' for decades, I would never have suggested such a gift, and never thought I would be able to cope. However, it has turned out to be the best birthday present ever! I am absolutely amazed to now be on week 8, and for W8R1 on Sunday I managed nearly 4k on the 28 min run. Just five more runs to complete the course, but I don't think I would have got this far without the app. I am posting this to give encouragement to anyone who doubts their abilities - if I can do it, so can you! Good luck all.

Well done! You have done brilliantly so far. Good luck with the rest of the programme, nearly there now! 😊

As you have found, it is never too late to discover the joys of running and the benefits of the physical fitness that it brings.

Keep running, keep smiling.
