So I celebrated a year at my new job today, picked up the kids, made cookies for American bake sale day and then - in the hour I get to myself - I took off for the final run.
It was so slow I feared snails would overtake me but I can run. For 30 minutes. Non-stop. And it is a beautiful thing. And it has helped my low moods. And I have never run in my life before. And I’m a very different person from the nervous ninja that hid from everyone in the first weeks.
Am so chuffed. Thanks for all your support.

It's a great feeling when you finish each run isn't it?! If only we could bottle that feeling we would be so rich! I'm glad it gives you an inner smile and a boost to your confidence.

when I go for a run (especially now school summer holidays are here) I call it my escape and much needed sanity time. 😎
