Repeated weeks

Hi. I’m a forty seven year old ex heavy smoker. I’ve deliberately repeated every single week of this three times to build up really slowly and yesterday I managed.W5R3 with very little problem. I’m chuffed to bits and if it’s 5k in twenty five weeks well I’ll take that! I used to run when I was 18 and was looking for an easy way back in. I’d never have done this in nine weeks but does it matter? I run outside on a fairly hilly route which caused me problems starting out but I’ve since lost half a stone and I love it. There’s really no need to rush!

I've smoked for 30 odd years and glad to have a goal. It's like you say it don't matter how long it takes you, your chuffed to be able to do it. Keep it up. 👍
