There's no way I can do 20k in one shot, I know, I'm not trained to do that and sadly I can't stop and start the Race Missions in Zombies, Run! (which I'll admit, makes sense, it's a race) but you know what I can do?
Pause the app. it's still running in the background of my phone, my phone which is charging after I did 8k tonight. I'll confess, Mr Psycho thought I'd finally cracked, wanting to go out during a heatwave but I bought myself a new running top and i was doing to wear it, Dammit!
Thus I set off - Runner 5 heading on another mission, this time with Runner 8 and Doc Myers for company as we attempt to uncover the mysteries that the Jeffro Complex contains and possibly rescue Doc Myers' girlfriend, Paula (also a doctor whose last name I don't know/can't recall)
...and that is now on pause whilst MrsPsycho rests up because she's done a full day's work as well as a 30 minute walk this morning, so she feels she's earned a bath, a cold drink and some supper. MrPsycho did wonder if the app will stay paused, I told him it's like the music app, if you pause the song, it stays paused until you press play again, even if you left it over night.
I can't wait to finish the mission tomorrow. For now though, I have turkey meatballs for supper
