I did W1R1 last night and I am pleased to say I am not suffering too much today! I have CFS/ME (a condition that can cause delayed fatigue after exertion) so I am not sure how quickly I will progress through the C25K challenge. I suspect I will need to repeat each week a couple of times before I can move on to the next stage. For now I am taking it one run at a time. It’s a bit of an experiment to see if my body can currently cope with exercise. I’m excited to see what happens though!

Hello and welcome. You've taken the hardest step in starting amd getting the first run done. I thought I was going to die on that first run!

Don't worry about how long it takes you. Take it at your own pace and repeat runs if you need to. This is a fabulous community and very supportive so post often and you'll find others at the same stage as you.

Check this out for advice healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

good luck and enjoy this life changing programme 🙂

I never get this quote right, but it is something like, "Even a journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step" you have taken your first step and are now on your journey, enjoy the ride, keep us posted on your progress

Thanks for the encouraging replies and warm welcome. I did W1R2 this morning - my first morning run. I found it a bit more difficult doing it in a morning but it was a nice way to start my day. I’m getting blisters though!
