Go out and do it. Then you will have done it and you can tick that off. Making the decision to go out the first time is the only difficult bit in the whole programme. The rest is just showing up. It isn't ever easy, but nothing worth doing ever is. Your excitement will be rewarded.

Well Done for starting c25k. It’s really warm this week so make sure you drink lots of water the day before your run and take it really slowly. You’ll hear a lot about 🐌 on here. Snail-like is good.

The first run is the hardest! Week 1 run 1 was one of the toughest things I had ever done ..... I seriously struggled with it!! Fast forward 9 weeks and I am now running quite happily for 30 minutes 3 times a week.... I never thought it would happen but it did, and it will for you too! Loads of great advice on this forum, read ALL the FAQ posts, ask for advice when you need it, do your bit by supporting others too, get decent running shoes around week 4, take it slow and steady, stay well hydrated and enjoy the journey 😀

All the advice you need is above. Try to pick a time when the temperature has dropped - either early morning or quite late evening. Go as slow as you can - this is a duration run, not a speed run.

Thanks everyone! I've done it. It's such a beautiful evening it felt a treat. My head is as red as beetroot but I feel great and motivated to do this properly. Thanks for the advice X
