Just finished the second run. It was good. I increased my brisk walk to 5.5 and my run to 7.5 on the machine with the last at 9.5. One thing I keep doing is clock watching. I hate doing that. Anyway keep focussed. One thing which will upset my diet is that we've been invited to someones house for a meal. I don't want to not eat, but we are talking about Indian cooking. Rice, curries, fried food. It's been a long time since visiting friends and don't want to offend. Any advise?

You have finished your run so don't worry about what you eat at your friends, if you had been going to your friends house before your run, now that would be different, even then you would have to wait for at least 2 hours after your meal to run but as you have already done your run and have at least 1 day off I don't see why you cannot enjoy your meal.
