Week 7 run 3 - run 3 was just as hard as run 1 😩

How on earth am I going to do 28mins? On the run 3 of week 7 I was still thinking ‘I’m going to have to stop’ and I didn’t and I went faster for the last minute and for the last 15 secs I put the speed up on the machine even higher......but still felt awful at the end 😩

Well done.

To answer your question, you had something in reserve if you could speed up at the end. There is no need to do that, if you don't want to.

Just stay at a nice steady pace and you will be fine.

I found W7 the hardest but you have done it - well done 👍. I always think ‘I can’t keep going’ but somehow I do & you did too. Hope W8 goes well for you. 🙂

Why are you running faster over the last few minutes?. All you are required to do is to run for 28 minutes - 28 minutes is still 28 minutes regardless of how fast you run!! :)

I only put the speed up from 6.1 up to 9 for the last 15 seconds to show myself I have still got some energy in the tank and I’m not as exhausted as I think I am

You’ll be fine. Your muscles and lungs will cope, but your brain might try to stop you. Having done 25 mins you are just asked to do 3 minutes, and you’ve been doing 3 minutes since about Week 3. Trick yourself into just carrying on.
