I had to run 20 years ago in the RAF to get fit. I was never a runner at school and I found it difficult but one day I had the most amazing feeling, like I could just run and run and run, it was easy! I honestly thought I could go on and never stop! We only had to do 1.5 miles under 13 mins.
So, my question is, when might I feel that fantastic feeling again? How fit do I need to be because I would just love to feel like that again. ( Its partly why I started this - to be able to get that feeling again ).

Partly going to depend how generally fit you are. There are recent graduates who describe that kind of feeling. Others (like me, much less fit) still struggle once we go over 30 minutes and have to work hard at it.
It will come, probably not until you reach the end of week 6 when there are no more interval runs.
I get a runners high every time I finish a run that I didn't think I would be able to do.
Sometimes I get a relief from getting out, going for a run and clearing my head. It's not the same but it's a good feeling that would make me rich if I could bottle it!
I don’t think I’ve ever experienced that euphoria but I generally feel far better after running than I did before or during! It definitely helps me cope with stress better as well. Still as slow as a snail & had a disappointing run today but still so so glad I’m doing it. 🙂
I've had a couple of runs like that in week 8 and 9, where it felt like I was flying and could go on forever - but then also a couple of tough runs in those weeks where it just felt like a bit of a slog and had to will myself to keep going and not stop. It's funny how it can be so different. I hope you find that feeling again
