... the first bit of packing you do for your hols looks like this!

And I like to think of myself as a minimalist runner!

No, no, no! This is absolutely the RIGHT way to pack...isn't it?🙂 Have a lovely holiday!

Pianism profile image
PianismGraduate in reply toSandraj39

I can buy everything else when I'm there... this stuff is mandatory though!

So definitely the right way to pack. :)

Oh yes.... my running case gets packed first every time.... and I already have my set at the holiday home on the coast anyway!! Go you!

Pianism profile image
PianismGraduate in reply toOldfloss

Thank you. Haven't run at the coast yet so looking forward to that immensely. I was born to be by the sea... just haven't found a way to engineer that yet.

We need to sort it..hopefully getting some of the other Tourist park runners to try to head out there..Park Run at Pwhelli!

Pianism profile image
PianismGraduate in reply toOldfloss

Ooh, I'll be making an effort to do that one at some point. 100 miles each way is a bit far on a whim... will have to plan a little overnight stay. :)

Do you have watch straps to match the colour of your blue t-shirt?

Pianism profile image
PianismGraduate in reply toKatnap

Lol no. I bought the watch a long time before I heard of the apricot tee-shirt. :)

And where is the hat? And what about the shades? Shocking omissions, shocking!

Couchpotato2 profile image
Couchpotato2Graduate in reply tomrrun

Oh yes, hat, visor, sunscream, rain jacket...

Pianism profile image
PianismGraduate in reply tomrrun

Lol. I don't even run it a hat when it's minus 10! My normal glasses are react-a-light. :)

Pianism profile image
PianismGraduate in reply toPianism

Visor... hmmm... perhaps a shopping trip is in order.

Granspeed profile image
GranspeedGraduate in reply toPianism

How can you run in rain with glasses if you don’t have a hat or visor? My glasses would get too splattered to see through. Tell me your secret!

Pianism profile image
PianismGraduate in reply toGranspeed

I take them off and hope there are no trees!

You have to have bags for your shoes! Otherwise how do you keep the dirt from getting on your clothes?? Haha

Ace, have a great holiday. I'm saving my fav running gear and fav pjs for my trip to Ireland. The rest I'll chuck in at the last minute 😄

Nice apricot! I just got that copy of Runners World: have you checked out Ronnie O’Sullivan’s prawn salad? I really want to make that. Never thought I’d be regularly buying a magazine again.

Have a great holiday 😀

Pianism profile image
PianismGraduate in reply toTailChaser

Am saving that for the long train journey...

The new shoes top right I think... lovely! Also what are the three black things under the belt, I dont have them and may need them urgently... great packing, looking forward to hearing about your trip:-)

PianismGraduate in reply toCouchpotato2

Hahaha! Wrist sweat band, arm pocket (to keep keys away from mobile phone) and head band (aka swimming cap!).

Couchpotato2 profile image

Aha, all great ideas 💡 and you are going to the beach after all, need to keep your hair dry...

Pianism profile image

I do... I always leave it at home! :)

That’s a lot more minimal than me 🤣. Have a great holiday, enjoy your tourism running, and make sure to come back and tell us all about it with some pics (it is the only way I’ll get to see these great places you guys get to run - yup, I may be a little jealous 😊)

Pianism profile image
PianismGraduate in reply toSaskAlliecat

Yes, well the average rock band tour is more minimal than you by all accounts lol!!

There will be piccies and run reports... no-one else understands like you guys. :(

Have fun. 🎉 Enjoy Poole Park Run. And there is a lovely, long level promenade at Bournemouth where my daughter ran a 10k recently. She said it was splendid for running.

Pianism profile image
PianismGraduate in reply toGranspeed

Thank you. Yes, that's where I'm planning to do my first 10k. Down to Sandbanks and back again. Completely coincidentally the route ends at Harry Ramsden's!!

Oh, what a surprise 🤣👍

Have a great time x 🌴☀️

Sad but i am a great advocate of shoe bags. Only discovered them 2 years ago but won't travel without them now and got ridiculously excited when I got a free one at the gym last month 🤦‍♀️

Thank you. I need a couple more. Mine were free from Fossil and they are really goo ones. :)
