Hello all C25kers! I haven’t forgotten you and still follow your progress with great interest. I’m normally hanging around the podium when I’m on a rest day. Love to see your hot sweaty faces and beaming smiles as you cross the finish line!! 😬
For those of you nearing the end the ‘Bridge to 10K’ is a great forum to join. Lots of experienced grads all willing to help and offer advice.
I’ve just finished week 2 of ju-ju’s infamous 10K plan and loving it. After a few weeks of consolidation runs its great to have structure back.
The pic is of Bournemouth beach - where I love to run as it’s flat!! Oh and of course beautiful. I usually run that whole stretch. 😎
Anyway won’t keep you long. Just wanted to say hi and happy running. 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️😍

Hello Jay 👋🏼👋🏼. 10K plan is going well. I need a goal to keep me motivated and it seemed the next natural step. I’m never done 5k in 30min - my best is 33. I didn’t want that to be my goal - aiming for 30mins. I needed to move on from 5k/30 mins after consolidating for a few weeks. Was boring tbh and demotivating. I must stress though you do need to run 5k comfortably before moving on.
Everyone’s goal is different and mine is a booked 10K in October!! Couch to 10K in 6 months?? Yes of course!! 😉
My son runs there, living in Southbourne, but also doesn’t do the beach 🏖 because of the groynes!! 😂The prom sounds fun though- and nice and flat. 🏃♀️🏃♀️😀
Great to hear from you Rip! I know you're still around and replying here and there, but it's high time we heard about your progress, so thanks for posting. Love hearing how you're getting on (apart from the Stava updates obvs). Keep running, keep smiling!
Hi, I’m quite jealous of that lovely run you have there, it looks gorgeous.
Having just graduated (yup, slipping that in whenever I can 🤣) I’m going to consolidate for 3 weeks then look into joining you on the bridge to 10k plan. See you there 👍😄
Fantastic Sandie! It is a great place to run when it’s not too hot - otherwise is really hard! See you on the other side soon. Good luck with consolidation runs. 😊
That looks beautiful! What a brilliant place to be. Glad to hear it's all going well and glad you're enjoying the next level...waiting to hear when you've hit 10k! Have fun out there.
All good thanks. Only done 1 run post grad as been busy with daughters uni open days and work leaving do's this week. Am back on it tomorrow though...getting itchy feet!
Lovely photo, I’m so jealous. I would run along the cliff and then the promenade at Sandown and Shanklin bay when visiting my Dad on the Isle of Wight, but he moved to the mainland in March so I have no excuse to visit. 😟
That beach looks lovely! I’d love to run along a beach - mind u - i do when i’m on the treadmill coz the ones at my gym have a screen on them & u can choose which trail to do. Nice to hear from u. Keep on running!
Hi Lola. Well I started with 30 mins runs and if I felt I could keep going went on to 5k. No pressure. I did slow down a bit to get to 5k though. If you were thinking of going up to 10K you would need to be able to run 5k. NOT in 30 mins but just continuously. I’ve never run it in 30mins (yet!). 😊
Thank you, I’ve been running for 28mins then walking the rest until I get to 4K so a bit to go before I’ll confidently be running 5k, its great to hear how your progressing and tips on how to get there 😘😘xx happy running 😊
