Hi all, Still here and contributing when I can. Lovely to see and read all the advice given by old and new members, so important and very appreciated!! Had the most wonderful run last night, 12k with the sun, wind and a little rain just when you need it the most! So grateful to feel fit enough (after ic) to go further and the scenic route really helps. Took the hubby for his first run on Saturday morning as we would like to start fell running together when we move. Thinking we would converse, I left my music at home. I should have realised that it would always be a race and competing. Anyway we all know the story of the hare and tortoise, after 2k his calves were sore, asking if he wanted to stop, pride kicks in and he manages a 5k. Fraser is 18 stone and has alway trained being a ex Commander (RN) he was heavy footed but did very well. Lovely to have him in my world and hoping this is the start of many more - whether he wants to or not!! He would go mental if he knew I posted this but I love it and proud of him x Happy running :)

Thanks RFC I hope so too!So funny, we ran past a couple of serious runners who said they were doing 25k. I put my thumbs up and Fraser tells them we are doing 40!! They were not that impressed when we had turned around to go back after 2.5k!! :)
