My run took in the sites of Derwentwater, very picturesque and peaceful.

Ran 4 miles in 43 minutes which wasn’t bad considering there were about 10 stops to open gates! I even managed to run up the inclines 🏃🏼‍♀️

How beautiful. I just love the Lake District. Gates are not something I’ve come across on a run.

I chose a footpath though parkland with sheep grazing but I wasn’t too concerned about pace 😊

Wow! I am hoping this will be exactly me in a few weeks time!!! :) We are staying near Derwentwater and my plan was to run around it, then I realised it was a bit too far! :) Hopefully, I will be fully off the IC by then and able to run a bit of it at least, following in your footsteps!! Thanks for sharing, looks beautiful. Enjoy your runs and hols :) x

We’re staying at Keswick campsite so just headed out from site. Lots of lovely places to run. Enjoy!

Keswick campsite! Ahh that reminds me of a student holiday with my then BF ~ 1986. It was lovely - he was a ‘southerner’ so I wanted to show him how beautiful it is up north
